ABOUT US

Winery Introduction
Located in the idyllic countryside — Wufeng District, Taichung — under the protection of Divine Farmer (Shennong), the deity of agriculture

We have successfully revitalized the “Wanfeng Old Granary”: the fruits of our labor include the establishment of the Aromatic Rice Storage, Sake Cellar (brewing area), Wanfeng Granary, and the Azhaowu Grocery Store, flawlessly merging Taiwanese aromatic rice culture with the depth of sake. On top of that, we have also preserved the invaluable rural cultural treasure of the old rice milling machine, offering a captivating journey through agriculture, culture, education, and insightful wine tasting. Wu-Feng Farmers’ Association Distillery proudly stands as Taiwan’s premiere distillery that adopts the Japanese Toji spirit of “soulful dedication” to aesthetics and the legacy of sake. We carefully select Yi Quan aromatic rice, specially grown in Wufeng, to brew our legendary Taiwanese sake using the purest and sweetest spring water from Puli.

We invite you to embark on an enchanting “Sake Cellar Experience,” where you can immerse yourself in the most poignant aspects of our distillery’s brewing culture and allure...

On the west side of the Wu-Feng Farmers’ Association Distillery, surrounded by sprawling lawns, wildlands, and a small river, stands an architectural marvel crafted from three shipping containers. Two of these containers are designated for storage, while the main space is an expansive 24-ping (approximately 79.2 square meters) trapezoidal area squeezed between them. The design and material selection for the walls are inspired by the unique polished surfaces already in use, showcasing a rustic yet industrial style. Complemented by warm-toned lighting, the overall space offers a more approachable and welcoming atmosphere.
